Scalable, Dynamic, Robust: Develop a start-up website with - Laravel, Next.js (full integration-to-development handoff)

Job ID: 40055272

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

Project Brief
--------------------

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer specializing in Laravel (PHP) and Next.js to build a scalable, robust, and dynamic start-up website.

The project will involve a complete integration-to-development handoff, ensuring seamless coordination between design and development. The Figma designs for all required pages will be provided upon project award. Each page must be implemented with pixel-perfect accuracy, maintaining the creative and functional integrity of the provided layouts.

The developer is expected to take a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach, translating design specifications into optimized, responsive web components that perform efficiently across all devices and browsers.

Required Skills & Expertise
--------------------------------------------

- Proven experience in PHP and the Laravel framework, with strong understanding of backend architecture, database structure, and secure API development.

- Advanced proficiency in Next.js, focusing on performance optimization, SEO-readiness, and responsive front-end development.

- Ability to analyze and interpret Figma designs, collaborate on refinements through brainstorming, and translate design concepts into functional, high-quality web pages.

- Must ensure that all newly developed pages and sections are modular and CMS-driven, allowing for full control via the admin dashboard — including the ability to add, edit, modify, delete, and create pages, sections, containers, and elements without direct code intervention.

- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code, ensuring the platform can evolve alongside future business needs.

The objective is to develop a scalable, modular, and high-performance web platform using Laravel (backend) and Next.js (frontend) — designed to be fully dynamic and CMS-driven. The system should allow complete flexibility to add, edit, and customize content and layouts directly through the CMS, ensuring a secure, fast, and future-ready architecture that supports long-term scalability without compromising performance or stability.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project Requirements and Technical Essentials:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. UI/UX Design & Motion Elements
-----------------------------------------------------------

- The Figma designs for all website pages are being handled separately by the design team.
- The implemented pages must accurately reflect the Figma layouts and include the motion graphics, transitions, and interactive movements defined within the designs.
- Certain categories and sections of the website will involve dynamic and animated visual elements that should be developed using efficient, performance-optimized code.

2. Responsiveness and Cross-Platform Compatibility
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- All website pages must be fully responsive across all devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
- The layout and interactive elements should maintain functional consistency and aesthetics across all major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Opera).
- Cross-browser and device testing will be mandatory before final delivery.

3. CMS Functionality and Editing Capabilities
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Once developed, all website pages must be fully manageable via the Laravel-based CMS (Statamic).
- The CMS should enable the client to:

1. Add, edit, modify, or delete entire pages and individual content components (text, images, videos, and media files).
2. Create new pages with flexible structure and layout options.
3. Manage content through an intuitive, visual page builder-style interface, incorporating flexible containers, repeaters, and section blocks.

- No coding should be required to make routine content updates or layout adjustments.

4. User Roles and Permissions
---------------------------------------------------

a) The CMS must support multi-user access levels with distinct roles and permissions, including:
- Super Admin
- Admin
- Editor
- Publisher
- Contributor
- Viewer

b) Each role should have configurable access rights to ensure secure and structured content management.

For additional information and requirements - please refer to the attached document (3 - Security & Compliance Requirements).

5. Marketplace Tools and Calculators
--------------------------------------------------------------

- The website includes marketplace-related calculators (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Amazon FBA, Profit Margin Calculator), requiring precise and accurate backend logic.
- No pre-existing formulas, Excel references, or logic sheets are available — development will require reverse engineering based on the provided reference links.
- iFrame embedding is not acceptable.
- A dedicated backend section must be created within the admin panel to manage and update calculator data and logic as needed.
- The solution must be custom-coded and maintainable, allowing future adjustments without developer dependency.

6. Visual Implementation and Image Optimization
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- The website will showcase multiple service-oriented images and visual sections.
- Where possible, we aim to minimize the use of static image assets by leveraging code-based visual rendering and effects.
- The developer should use modern web technologies (e.g., SVG animation, CSS transitions, lightweight Lottie integrations) to achieve visual effects efficiently.
- Please refer to the attached document titled “Image (5 - Image (Illustration, Visualisation))” for specific creative and functional guidance.

7. Case Studies and Blog Management
----------------------------------------------------------------

- The Case Study and Blog sections must be fully manageable within the CMS.
- The admin should be able to add, edit, modify, and create new entries, including all associated media and text content.
- Functionality and editing experience should mirror that of WordPress CMS, allowing non-technical users to operate independently.

8. App Integrations and Marketing Tools
------------------------------------------------------------------

a) The project involves integration of marketing, analytics, and automation tools, as well as backend script management.
b) The CMS should provide an easy interface for adding or updating scripts and third-party integrations as required.
c) Tools and platforms to be integrated include (but are not limited to):

- HubSpot
- Heatmap
- PickFu
- Klaviyo
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- JungleScout
- Amplitude
- Pacvue
- Hotjar
- Mailerlite
- Zapier
- Microsoft Clarity
- Make (Integromat)
- Twilio
- Brevo (Sendinblue)

d) The backend must be designed for API-driven extensibility, allowing additional tools to be added in the future without architectural changes.

9. Reference Documentation
------------------------------------------------

An additional backend reference document has been provided alongside this brief.
This document includes technical details and specifications that the developer must review and follow during implementation.
