React/Laravel Full-Stack Developer
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced full-stack contractor to work on a greenfield project that will be built from the ground up. Would also consider just a front end React developer. This is an exciting opportunity help architect and develop a modern web application using React and Laravel technologies.
Required Technical Skills
Frontend Requirements
React 18+ with functional components and hooks
JSX - Advanced proficiency required
React-Redux for state management
Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
Experience with component libraries
Knowledge of React Router for navigation
Understanding of React performance optimization
Backend Requirements
Laravel 9+ framework expertise
PHP 8+ proficiency
RESTful API development
Database queries, design and optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Laravel Eloquent ORM
Authentication and authorization systems
Laravel queues and background jobs
API documentation (preferably with tools like Swagger)
Additional Technical Requirements
Postman experience
Git version control and branching strategies
Testing frameworks (PHPUnit for Laravel, Jest/React Testing Library for React)
Package managers (yarn)
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3-5 completed projects using React and Laravel stack
Experience with greenfield projects strongly preferred
Portfolio demonstrating scalable application architecture
Minimum 3 professional references from recent projects (within last 2 years)
References must be contactable clients or project managers
References should be able to speak to both technical skills and project delivery
Must be a clear communicator

Implement application architecture from scratch
Develop responsive frontend components using React/JSX
Build robust backend APIs using Laravel
Implement state management with React-Redux
Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews
Document code and API endpoints
Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and feedback
