Node.js & Laravel, 7 PHP Full-Stack Support

I maintain a product that relies on two separate codebases—one built with Node.js and the other with Laravel/PHP—and I need an experienced developer who can comfortably jump between them whenever an issue or new requirement arises.
Typical needs include tightening up existing endpoints, improving performance queries, tracking down the occasional logic bug, and making small feature additions as they come up. Some tasks will fall purely on the Node.js side, others strictly in Laravel, and a few may touch both stacks, so fluency in JavaScript (ES6+), PHP 8+, Express or similar frameworks, and Laravel’s ecosystem (Eloquent, artisan CLI, migrations) is essential. The ability to write clear, self-documenting commits is just as important as clean code.
I prefer someone who can:
• Review a ticket, estimate it quickly, and turn around a solution with minimal hand-holding.
• Explain trade-offs when choosing between refactor, quick fix, or new module.
• Follow existing coding standards and leave the codebase slightly better than you found it.
When you reply, include a brief note about the most complex issue you have solved that involved both JavaScript and PHP.
