Next.js Front-End Developer | Secure Enterprise Environment (6 Yrs Experience)

We are looking for a Next.js Front-End Developer to join our development team working on a modern web application with a Next.js-based front end and a Laravel (PHP) back end. The system is deployed in a secure enterprise environment, and we follow best practices around code security, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows. You will be responsible for developing new features, maintaining and improving the existing codebase, and ensuring robust, secure, and high-performance front-end implementations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain front-end features using Next.js and React
Integrate securely with back-end APIs developed in Laravel
Adhere to secure coding practices to prevent XSS, CSRF, and injection vulnerabilities
Work with a CI/CD pipeline to deploy code safely and efficiently
Collaborate using tools like JIRA and GitHub for task tracking and version control
Participate in security reviews and proactively identify front-end risks
Maintain excellent SEO, accessibility, and performance standards
Translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and interactive web components

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js and React
Experience in enterprise-grade environments with emphasis on security
Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and working with Laravel back ends
Proficiency in Git, GitHub, JIRA, and CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Knowledge of secure coding principles and how to mitigate common web threats
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Security & Quality Focus
Implement secure front-end practices (validation, sanitization, secure routing)
Collaborate with the team to run code audits and integrate tools like ESLint, Snyk, or SonarQube
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and deployment standards

Additional
Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks
Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, Laravel Sanctum, or similar authentication protocols
Exposure to containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Prior experience deploying apps on AWS
