Inventory Management System (IMS) for Marketplace Businesses + Checkout Integration

Objective:
Develop a backend-first Inventory Management System (IMS) for the Keldaa marketplace. Each business on the platform should be able to manage their own inventory (products, stock levels, categories, prices), with the ability to add products directly into the checkout flow when consumers book services.

Core Features:
1. Inventory Module (Per Business)
• Add/edit/delete products (name, category, price, SKU, image, etc.)
• Track stock levels (quantity, availability status)
• Organize products by categories (e.g., Haircare, Oils, Equipment)
• Support for product types: simple (single unit), variant (e.g., size/color)
• Optional: barcode/SKU assignment for each item
2. Checkout Integration
• During service booking, allow clients to add products to cart (e.g., upsell items like massage oil, skincare, brushes)
• Stock deduction after order completion
• Items to appear on confirmation page, invoice, and notifications
3. Business Dashboard
• Inventory list with search, filters, and inline editing
• Low stock alerts
• Product performance tracking (optional MVP+)
• Bulk import/export via CSV
4. Admin Panel Controls
• View/edit inventories across all businesses
• Approve or flag restricted items
• Manage product categories platform-wide

Tech Requirements:
• Backend: PHP with MySQL (existing Keldaa stack), Laravel preferred
• Frontend: Optional (admin & business views only; no public-facing UI needed)
• Checkout Sync: Seamless addition of products to existing booking flow
• Security: Each business can only view/edit their own inventory
• Scalability: Must support thousands of businesses and product records
