Laravel 9 User Registration - Multi Select from Table with many records

Hello Freelancers! I hope you are having a great day!
I am a medium skilled technical person. I have install Laravel 9 and Breeze myself on my local machine. I have a MySQL database created with a table called Schools. I want to enable a new user to select from the table the schools they associate themselves with, and have this data save in the Users table.
I want to hire someone to help me create the Laravel Controllers, Models, and View on the Registration page. I want to write a lot of the code because this is a simple task and I would like to learn. I want to hire someone to watch me code using TeamViewer and help fix issues when they happen, and help teach me the proper steps for displaying the options and saving the data.
I do also want to create options as an API, which I can reuse in an Ionic app I have built for the same project. So it would be to modify the blade templates on the Laravel website and access the information via a secure API within my Ionic project.
This should not take more than an hour or two of work. This is a VERY simple task and an opportunity to build a long term relationship with me.
