Laravel/Next.js E-commerce Enhancements

I have a production e-commerce site that runs a Laravel API with a Next .js front-end, and I’m ready to tighten up the way it works rather than how it looks. The main objective is to refine and expand existing functionality—think smoother checkout logic, smarter account workflows, and faster product interactions—so shoppers feel the upgrade immediately.
You will be working in a Git-based environment, touching both the Laravel controllers and the React components in Next .js. The stack already uses standard tools like Sanctum, Stripe, and Prisma, so familiarity with those is a plus, but the focus is on cleaning up and extending the current code rather than bolting on new third-party services.
Deliverables should include:
• Updated, well-commented code for both back-end (Laravel 10) and front-end (Next .js 13+)
• Migration or seeder files when database adjustments are required
• A concise change log and instructions so I can replicate the improvements locally and on staging
