Laravel Developer for SaaS & API Enhancement

Job Description:

I’m seeking a highly skilled PHP/Laravel developer with experience working on SaaS platforms and API integrations to enhance my field service management software.

I purchased and launched a pre-built SaaS system from CodeCanyon (https://codecanyon.net/item/field-service-management/51665967), which is now live. The system is solid but needs several key upgrades to make it production-ready for field service companies.

Scope of Work:

1. Team & Technician Management Feature
• Add functionality to allow admins to create departments/teams (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, Support).
• Allow assignment of service tickets to teams or individual technicians within a team.
• Add a drag-and-drop or dropdown interface to reassign tickets to different technicians or departments.
• Ensure the new structure fits within the existing permission/user system.

2. QuickBooks Online Integration
• Connect the system with QuickBooks Online (web-based) via the official QuickBooks API (OAuth 2.0).
• Allow users to:
• Sync customers from FSM to QuickBooks
• Push invoices and payments from FSM to QuickBooks
• Optional: Sync estimates, service items, or expenses
• Build a settings page for users to:
• Connect/disconnect their QuickBooks account
• Choose which items to sync and how often

Deliverables:
• Fully functional team/department system within FSM
• Seamless QuickBooks Online sync with proper authentication and sync settings
• Clean, documented code (ideally using Laravel best practices)
• Admin control panel for team/ticket assignment and sync settings
• Testing and validation of all new features

• PHP & Laravel
• JavaScript (for dashboard interactions)
• API Integration (especially OAuth 2.0)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online API (strongly preferred)
• SaaS development and modular feature extension
