Laravel CMS & Blog Upgrade

My existing Laravel site runs fine, but I now need a lightweight content-management layer and a dedicated blog section built directly into the codebase. The goal is to let non-technical staff publish and edit pages from a simple dashboard while keeping the public-facing design clean and minimalistic.

Scope of work
• Extend the current Laravel project with a modular CMS you code natively (no bulky third-party packages unless they fit cleanly).
• Build a blog page that pulls posts from the new CMS, supports categories/tags, SEO-friendly slugs, and pagination.
• Apply a minimalistic layout that matches the rest of the site and stays fully responsive.
• Refactor or add controllers, models, migrations, and Blade views as needed, following Laravel best practices.
• Migrate any existing content so nothing is lost, then test thoroughly across the major browsers.
• Hand over concise setup/update instructions so I can maintain it solo after launch.

Tech notes
The project is already on Laravel; please stick to its built-in auth, Eloquent ORM, Blade, and modern PHP conventions. Git access is available for version control.

Acceptance
I’ll consider the job complete when I can log in, create/edit a post or page in the CMS, and see it live on the new blog page without layout issues on desktop and mobile.
