Job summary:
Along with the web lead developer, the database engineer, and the app developer, you will work on the back-end and front-end development and maintenance of our website www.tomplay.com. Your tasks will for example include:
• Development of new features, such as the implementation of a wishlist (synchronized with our apps), the possibility for a user to switch from a monthly to a yearly subscription (via the Stripe API) or the coding and deployment or Tomplay free music tools section (piano chords, online metronome…) These features will need to be coded in the backend but also deployed in the frontend.
• You will be regularly in touch with the customer support team and provide guidance for website related technical questions and bugs.
• Integration and optimization of our Analytics systems. You will be regularaly in touch with the management of Tomplay and the marketing team to deliver statistics and to improve our report generation tool.
What we require from you:
• Strong background in Laravel, PHP and MySQL with at least 3 years of experience. You have already worked with Laravel plugins such JWT
• Good knowledge of the Stripe and the Paypal APIs
• Good knowledge of Git
• English speaking, very good communication skills, open-minded, precise and solution oriented. Initiative and involvement are highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and of experience wit Search Engine Optimization is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Memcached and SOLR knowledge are a plus, but not mandatory.
• Experience with AWS and the AWS could infrastructure Exp, especially related to security, scaling, storage and content delivery is a plus, but not mandatory.
