We do this by offering our customers a gifting as as service platform Kadonation Select, that allows our customers to send personalized gifts on the right moment to their employees and customers without hassle. Customers can for example automatically thank their employees with a personalized gift at their work anniversary and this in less than 3 clicks.
Kadonation was founded in 2017 in Belgium and backed by well-known entrepreneurs. We just got rewarded the title of fastest growing company in the digital commerce sector by the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 – 2021 with a revenue growth of 5629% in 4 years. We were able to achieve this by our incredibly talented team of now 32 people. Last year we helped more than 630 enterprise and SME customers for more than 125.000 employees and this is just the beginning.
We’re searching for the best developers to support our growth by the best product in the market. Our development team currently consists of 5 developers (front + back-end) and we’ll be scaling it to 15 people by the end of next year.
Your main tasks?
You strengthen our development team as back-end developer and you help build the future of Kadonation as a product and a service. You will be working on small and big projects with a high level of variety and challenge.
• You are responsible to build and improve the most important functionalities, as for third parties’ API’s.
• You get in on the newest developments
• You find and rewrite mistakes by using the ‘code reviewing’-technique.
You’d also be working on:
• Building and designing our own API’s and connections with third parties
• Setting up new features that allow our customers to better reward their employees and customers, e.g. automated gifting for any occasion and any gift.
• The automatization of internal processes and dashboards so your team members can work faster and more efficient
• Performance optimizations to support our scale
Your profile?
• You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience
• You have a good knowledge of PHP, MySQL and PHP Frameworks such as Laravel
• You have a good experience of domain driven design
• You have experience with building and designing REST API’s
• You have experience with cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud platform and Amazon Web Services
• You have experience with CI/CD and GIT
• You have a good knowledge of web technologies such as http, https, ssl, OAuth 20, JWT
• Nice extra:
o You have leadership skills to become a tech lead
o You have experience with the Lucid Framework
o You have worked on projects with more than 100.000 requests per day
• Communication within the team is essential. Jira and Confluence are your friends.
• The international and multicultural context of projects requires a technical and professional use of English
