Experienced PHP Developer Needed
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I need a reliable PHP professional who can immediately step into Muhammad’s shoes and keep our web applications running smoothly. The codebases you’ll inherit are written in clean PHP 7/8, largely organised around Laravel and some legacy CodeIgniter modules. They power two main product lines: a multi-store e-commerce platform and a couple of bespoke content-management systems.
Day to day you will:
• maintain and refactor existing code so nothing breaks in production,
• build new, well-tested features on top of the current architecture,
• troubleshoot performance or logic issues and optimise queries or PHP logic where necessary.
Solid MySQL/MariaDB skills are essential because most of our bottlenecks live in complex joins and poorly indexed tables. Front-end tweaks (HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript) come up frequently, and I’ll be happy to see experience with Vue or React, though it isn’t mandatory.
All work runs through Git, so branching, pull-requests and code-review familiarity will help us collaborate smoothly. If you have prior exposure to third-party API integrations, mention it—several future milestones involve payment gateways and shipping services.
Deliverables for your first weeks:
1. Perform a health check on the e-commerce codebase, closing any critical bugs uncovered.
2. Ship a small feature for the CMS (details in the onboarding brief).
3. Document any structural improvements you recommend so we can plan the next sprint together.
