Developer to Consult on Existing Laravel / PHP Website - Back & Front-End Updates and Improvements

Looking to hire a freelance developer with experience with websites built in Laravel to bring onto the team.
The company is undergoing a full brand and website redesign. The current website is extremely custom to company needs and hoping to integrate existing backend logic with the new look front end. The current website is built almost entirely on Laravel, with some JS / CSS. Acquiring full front-end mockups for website design that will be delivered by EOY.
New hire would be working with a team of two. A server architect and fresh full-stack dev who will tackle most of the front-end changes. Have a development environment that mirrors existing live site through AWS and Forge ready to go. Updates would be made through GitHub to the test site before being deployed by internal team.
2 main needs:
- Someone who can make some immediate API update integrations to old site. Plus some line item front and back-end changes to existing site that are of immediate priority. TIMING: Immediate. APROX HOURS: 3-10
- Someone to work with the team to tackle larger back-end issues that may arise through the front-end redesign process. Will work to find best solution to communicate tasks and updates. TIMING: Start of 2023. APPROX HOURS: 10-100+
Requirements:
- Experience working with Laravel custom sites
- Ability to understand and work with existing code
- Ability to communicate in English and work with a team
- Reasonable response time and turnaround on assignments
- Portfolio or references for previous work
Rate is negotiable and dependent on experience and effectiveness.
