Database Migration in Laravel & MongoDB
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We need a Laravel expert in v5.2 and MongoDB to migrate the database from MYSQL to MongoDB, aiming to utilize the same Laravel query builder.
Responsibilities:
- Migrating all existing MySQL database structures (tables, views) to MongoDB (collections, and equivalent to MySQL views).
- Switch all queries (query builder) in the whole Laravel project to MongoDB.
- MongoDB testing, and make sure the two main databases are working correctly, and the Laravel auto-install function is working correctly (Auto-create database with preconfigured collections and documents).
- Testing hole Laravel project (Make sure all pages, and API functions are working correctly after DB migration).
Policies:
- All the tasks should be done on the development environment using RDP (Remote desktop connection)
- Create a Trello board and break down the main tasks into small tasks to monitor progress bit by bit.
Ideal Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Laravel v5.2 and MongoDB.
- Prior experience in database migration from MYSQL to MongoDB is essential.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within specified timelines.
