Create required functions in a Laravel environment to communicate with Facebook and Instagram API
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Do not apply if you don't have experience with:
- Laravel 5
- Facebook / Instagram API integration
What we need is simple if you have done this before.
To be clear, this project does not require the need to build a FULL APP is it is ONLY a feature for a larger project
The only thing we will be using from this project are the FUNCTIONS you build in Laravel to communicate with Facebook API, which we will move into our main project.
This project requires you to do the following:
Backend
- Install a fresh Laravel version 5.8
- Build the functions required to communicate with FB API
Frontend ( you can design the project pages as you wish, I list them as separate for a better understanding of the required tasks)
MINIMAL PROOF OF CONCEPT INTERFACE
NOTE The Frontend part of the project, as mentioned before, is only for proof of concept to test how the functions work, do not waste time in design or layout as we won't be using them once the project is finished.
1 Page 1 (Connect FB)
- 1 x button called “Connect with Facebook”, when clicked, will give the user the option to link to his FB account. Once the user inserts his credentials, FB will ask the user what FB Business Page he wants to allow to be managed by the Laravel App.
- Option to disconnect linked FB account
- Once a page is linked, Laravel will display which Page was linked
- Option to unlink the Page
2 Page 2 (Pull reviews and reply to them)
- A webpage that will pull the reviews associated with the linked FB business Page in the previous task.
- Option on each review to reply to it, and the reply will be pushed back in FB under that review
3 Page 3 (Post on FB page)
- Will have 1 x button called “Post Facebook” to post a predefine post on that FB page.
- For this project, the post information can be hardcoded inside the function and will contain the text: “My first Facebook Post”
- This it is only required for proof of concept
4 Page 4 (Receive FB message and reply to it)
- If a message is received on that FB Page, that message will be displayed and have an option underneath to reply.
5 Page 5 (Connect to Instagram and post on the Instagram account)
- The first button will be called “Connect with Instagram”, when clicked, will give the user the option to link to his Instagram Account
- The second button will be called “Post Instagram” to post a predefine post on the linked Instagram account page
- For this project, the post information can be hardcoded inside the function and will contain the text: “My first Instagram Post”
- This it is only required for proof of concept
