Classifieds Website Full-Stack Updates
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
I run a busy classified advertising site that needs attention across the entire stack.
Frontend
• Refresh key screens to modernise the look and feel while keeping the existing brand intact.
• Eliminate current bugs—broken links, layout inconsistencies and slow-loading pages must be fully resolved.
• Roll out a few small but important features that improve browsing and posting workflow.
Backend
The new interface work will require additional or updated endpoints, some refactoring for speed, and tighter security around user actions and image uploads. Clean, well-commented PHP/Laravel (or similar) code preferred, but I’m open to other frameworks if you can justify the change.
Database
Please audit the MySQL schema, optimise slow queries and set up sensible indexing so the site remains snappy as listings grow. Data integrity checks and a lightweight backup routine are part of the job.
Deliverables
1. Git-based commits for frontend, backend and database work.
2. A short deployment guide (markdown is fine).
3. Brief test report demonstrating fixed bugs and new feature paths.
