Translate Adult Beginner Spanish Books
Budget: $10 – $20 NZD
I have a set of educational books aimed at adult beginners that need to be translated into clear, approachable Spanish. The material is currently laid out as full-length books—complete with chapter headings, exercises, glossaries, and cultural notes—and I want the finished version to read naturally while remaining true to the pedagogical intent of the originals.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A precise, human translation of every word in each book, including examples and answer keys, without losing the friendly tone that helps new learners stay engaged.
• Faithful preservation of the original structure and basic formatting so my design team can drop the translated text straight back into layout with minimal rework.
• Consistency in terminology and style across chapters—feel free to use CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, or Smartcat if that helps maintain quality. Machine-generated text alone is not acceptable.
• Final deliverables in an editable format (Word or Google Docs) plus a clean PDF for quick reference.
Once you send back a chapter, I’ll review it for accuracy, clarity, and flow, then provide feedback right away so the same standards carry through the rest of the manuscript. Please include an estimated word-count-based timeline and highlight any prior experience translating educational materials for adult learners.
