I have a set of documents written in Spanish that must be rendered faithfully and fluently in English while keeping the original structure and formatting intact. Accuracy is paramount—I need the tone, nuances, and any specialized terminology to read as if the text were originally authored in English.
You will receive the files in their current layout (mostly Word and PDF). The job is complete when I have:
• a fully translated, proof-read version of each document, delivered in the same file type
• tracked-changes or a two-column file so I can compare source and target quickly
• a brief note flagging any ambiguous phrases you had to interpret
Please base your bid on your proven experience translating Spanish documents; that background is the key detail I will weigh. If you regularly use CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast, feel free to mention them, but they are not mandatory.
