English Teachers Worldwide
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m expanding Hope Through English (HTE) into new community-run classrooms across Asia and Africa and seeking fluent English speakers outside of North America to volunteer as lead teachers for children.
If you have any prior experience with ESL or youth programs, that’s a plus—but the most important requirement is the ability to teach confidently using our curriculum and help kids gain language skills.
What you’ll do
• Teach one or two 30-minute classes each week.
• Use our provided kid-friendly curriculum, adapting it to your local students
• Secure a local classroom space (library, schoolroom, church hall—whatever works)
• Submit a short attendance and progress report after each class
Requirements
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be located outside of North America
• Must attend a required 10-minute consultation meeting (held in Eastern/Central US times) where we’ll go over onboarding steps and discuss payment.
• Must have students to teach or be able to get students in the hometown to teach through our organization.
We’ll supply teaching aids, worksheets, and digital resources—you bring energy, empathy, and a reliable internet connection for check-ins.
