Elementary Mandarin Material Translation
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a set of Bahasa Indonesia teaching materials—lesson notes, short reading passages, simple worksheets—written for primary-school pupils that must be rendered faithfully into Mandarin Chinese (Simplified characters). The tone needs to stay friendly and age-appropriate, key terms should remain consistent across files, and any cultural examples that would confuse a young Chinese-speaking learner can be swapped for equivalents after checking with me.
A clean, ready-to-print layout is essential, so please keep all headings, numbering, images and text boxes exactly where they sit in the source files. If you can add pinyin above new vocabulary, even better; let me know whether that is included in your quote.
Deliverables
• Fully translated, proof-read files in the same editable format supplied (DOCX & PPTX).
• A quick glossary for recurring keywords so I can reuse the terminology in future lessons.
Experience translating children’s educational content—or, better still, a background in primary education—will help you capture the right register. If you have samples that show this, link them when you reply. I am ready to start as soon as I select the right person and can share the materials under NDA.
