Beginner Mandarin Speaking Lessons
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I’m a native English speaker starting from scratch in Mandarin and want to concentrate on speaking and pronunciation for everyday conversation. I’ve set aside an initial block of 20 online hours, paid at AUD $15 per hour, and can connect over either WeChat or Zoom—whichever you prefer.
To make the most of our time together, I’m looking for sessions that
• centre on tones, pinyin and sentence flow
• use practical dialogues drawn from daily situations like ordering food, introducing oneself, asking directions and casual small talk
• include brief voice-note or reading exercises between lessons so I can keep practising outside class
• provide specific, actionable feedback on each pronunciation slip I make
