Wall Boards, Fencing and Slabs

Job ID: 40250019

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

This is a straightforward set of outdoor works on my residential property. The ground is already cleared, so you can get started right away.

Task 1 – Alley wall boards
Fifteen treated boards need to be trimmed to length, then slipped in as kick-boards beneath the existing perimeter fence. Accurate cuts and a neat, level finish along the run are important so rainwater drains properly.

Task 2 – Temporary fencing
I need a short run of temporary panels. That means digging seven post bases through hard, compact clay, dropping the posts plumb, and bracing them so the fence stands true for several months.

Task 3 – Slabbed walkway
Finally, a 14 m × 2 m strip is ready for 450 mm × 450 mm grey concrete slabs. The sand bed must be raked level, compacted, and the slabs laid tight with consistent joints and a slight fall for drainage.

Acceptance criteria
• All boards tight under the fence with no gaps
• Posts set square; fence rigid by hand test
• Slab surface even to within 5 mm over a 2 m straight-edge

Bring your own saws, post-hole digger, mixer or compactor, levels and line. I’ll supply boards, posts, panels, sand and slabs on site. Let me know your earliest start date and estimated completion time.
