Tropical/ Mediterranean Garden Landscape Design Needed

I’m ready to turn my new L shape yard into an inviting tropical retreat for family and friends. The space has to flow from an outdoor kitchen and bar to a shaded dining zone, then open out toward a pool, a lawn for games, and a relaxed lounging area. Lush, heat-tolerant planting should frame each area so the whole garden feels like one cohesive destination.

Style & planting vision
My taste leans distinctly soft Mediterranean . Think soft edges full foliage, vibrant colour accents and plenty of height variation. Palms will almost certainly feature, yet I’m open to flowering or fruiting species as long as they thrive in a hot climate and require reasonable maintenance.

How we’ll use the space
Most gatherings are casual family barbecues that sometimes grow into larger social evenings. Good circulation around the bar and dining area is essential, as is a clear sight-line from the kitchen to the pool and grass so I can keep an eye on children at play.

What I need from you
