Stone Patio & Walkway Design

Job ID: 40610706

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m renovating the outdoor area of a property and need a landscape plan that focuses on hardscape rather than planting. The core of the brief is a network of natural stone pathways that flow into generous stone patios with built-in seating areas, all tied together with stone retaining walls where elevation changes demand it. I’ve chosen stone as the single material for every structural element; concrete, brick and other options are off the table unless you feel a subtle accent is essential for drainage or edging.

You’ll start by studying site photos, grades and measurements that I will supply. From there, translate the concept into a layout that balances function, traffic flow and visual impact. Drainage solutions, sub-base specifications and expansion-joint details must be integrated so the design can be built without guesswork.

Deliverables
• Scaled site plan showing all stone patios, pathways and retaining walls
• 3-D visualisations or rendered perspectives that communicate material texture and seating placement
• Material and cut-stone schedule with quantities, thicknesses and jointing pattern
• Construction notes covering base preparation, recommended stone types and any required edge restraints

I’d like the first draft within a week, with two revision rounds included so we can fine-tune finishes and seating dimensions. If this scope is clear and you have recent stone hardscape work in your portfolio, let’s move ahead.
