I want to turn my yard into a contemporary retreat where I can slow down, breathe, and enjoy a quiet stroll. The look should stay clean-lined and modern, and the experience should put relaxation first.
The single must-have feature is a walking path—think gentle curves or crisp geometry that feels intentional rather than purely functional. Suggest surface options that sit well with a modern aesthetic, such as large concrete slabs, porcelain pavers, or compacted gravel with steel edging. Low-glare path lighting for evening use is important, too.
Everything else is flexible: if you see a way to weave in a subtle water feature or a discreet seating nook without cluttering the space, let me know in your concept. I’m open to smart ideas as long as the path and the overall sense of calm stay front and center.
Once we start, I’ll share site photos, exact dimensions, and a basic CAD of the house footprint. From you, I need:
• A scaled concept plan (PDF plus the editable CAD/SketchUp/Revit source)
• Planting palette that fits my climate, called out by common and botanical names, with brief care notes
• Hardscape & material schedule listing sizes, finishes, and estimated quantities
• Two or three rendered perspectives that capture the feel of the finished space
• A short phasing guide so I can build the project over time if needed
