Modern Japanese Home & Garden Design

Job ID: 40422376

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have just finished building my house and now want to give both the interior and the surrounding garden a cohesive Modern-Japanese character. Inside, the brief focuses on the living room and the bedroom—clean lines, natural textures, and contemporary Japanese detailing that feels warm rather than minimalist. Outside, the goal is a garden that extends the same mood through balanced plant choices, stone, water or timber features, and subtle lighting so the view from each room feels like a seamless continuation of the interior.

To make the vision concrete, I will need:
• Concept mood boards that set the overall palette and material direction
• Scaled floor plans and elevations for the living room and bedroom showing furniture layout, built-ins, and key finishes
• A planting and hard-scape concept for the garden that ties into those interiors
• 3D visuals or rendered perspectives so I can sign off on the look before execution

Plans must be delivered in formats that a local contractor and landscaper can follow (PDF + editable source such as SketchUp, Revit, or similar). A short style guide summarising colours, woods, fabrics and garden elements will round out the package.

If you specialise in Modern Japanese design and can translate that aesthetic across inside and out, this project should be a perfect fit.
