Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m turning a section of my backyard into a calm, contemporary retreat that links directly to the house by a wooden deck walkway. The vision is clean-lined and unquestionably modern, yet warm enough to invite daily use for reading, relaxing, and unwinding in a dry sauna.
Here’s the space in mind:
• A glass-fronted reading room that sits just off the deck, surrounded by planting beds for privacy.
• A dry sauna, sized for two to four people, tucked beside the reading room and sharing the same architectural language.
• A low, tranquil water feature running parallel to the deck to draw the eye and mask neighborhood noise.
• Comfortable outdoor seating arranged for both solo reading and small gatherings, all oriented to enjoy the water feature.
I’ll need a full concept package that includes a scaled layout, material palette, and 3D visuals so I can move smoothly into permitting and construction with construction documents. I’m happy to review two rounds of revisions to fine-tune details such as decking timber, sauna cladding, and fixture placement.
Key acceptance points:
