Landscape Design & CAD Documentation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a skilled landscape designer who can take a project from the earliest concept sketch straight through to polished client presentations. You’ll be developing original landscape design concepts, complete with detailed planting plans that specify trees and shrubs, perennial and annual flowers, plus ground covers and grasses.
Your day-to-day work will include producing accurate CAD technical drawings that communicate grading, hardscape, and planting intent, as well as refined renderings and presentation graphics that make ideas immediately clear to our clients. Alongside the drawing work, I’ll count on you to assist with site analysis, local code checks, and any regulatory documentation the jurisdiction requires.
Client interaction is required with this role. You should feel comfortable presenting your ideas, explaining choices, and guiding both homeowners and commercial stakeholders through the design process. Internally, you’ll coordinate with our architects, civil engineers, and contractors to be sure the original design intent carries through construction. You may also help track tasks, compile monthly billing backups, and prepare eye-catching visuals for marketing decks when needed.
Deliverables we expect:
• Concept packages with preliminary layouts
• A complete planting plan set (trees/shrubs, perennials/annuals, ground covers/grasses) in CAD
• Technical CAD drawings ready for planning submission
• High-resolution renderings / presentation boards for client meetings
