Front Yard Landscape Design + HOA Submission Drawings
Experienced landscape designer to create a front yard landscape plan and HOA-ready drawings for a custom home.
Scope of Work:
• Create a scaled site/landscape plan
• Provide a clean 2D drawing suitable for HOA submission (PDF)
• Optional: simple 3D rendering for visualization (not required but a plus)

Special Site Elements:
• Underground septic tank (show approximate location)
• Underground 1,000-gallon propane tank (show approximate location)
• Include irrigation layout to plants/trees (basic is fine)
• Show irrigation controller location
• Include low-voltage landscape lighting plan
• Design should be clean, modern, and HOA-compliant
• Must be clearly labeled and dimensioned
• Material and Plant legend

Hardscape:
• 26’ wide driveway to garages
• 12’ wide circular (horseshoe) driveway in front of home
• 5’ wide sidewalk from street to front door
• Two CMU columns at front near street:
o Size: 2’ x 2’ x 4’ high
o Include lighting on top
o One column includes a mailbox
• Paver borders around planting areas (for shrubs, rocks, and landscaped zones), designed to define and separate planting beds from surrounding surfaces

Landscape Design:
Trees:
• 2 Chinese Elm trees (24” box) in front yard lawn
Rock Areas:
• 2’ (includes border & rock along both side property lines (full length)
Planters & Feature Elements:
• Two custom raised planter boxes along the main sidewalk:
o Size: 5" wide x 12’ long x 18” high
o Located on opposite sides of the sidewalk
o Spaced approximately 4’ apart (alternating left/right placement)
o Positioned between front columns and circular driveway
Planter Design Details:
• 6” wide top frame with overhang/lip
• Concealed LED strip lighting under top lip
• Lighting should cast a soft downward glow onto walkway
Planting (with irrigation lines):
• 5 Texas Sage (5 gallon)
• 3 Dwarf Thundercloud Texas Sage (5 gallon)
• 6 Bush Morning Glory (5 gallon)
• 15 Little John Bottlebrush (5 gallon)
• 6 Fortnight Lily (1 gallon)
• Grass in front yard with slight slope to center for water retention.
