Commercial Landscape Permit Plan Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing a city‐submittal package for a new commercial site and need a stamped landscape plan that checks every municipal box while showcasing a clean, modern-minimalist aesthetic. The core focus is a network of green spaces—strategically placed trees, low-maintenance plant beds, and subtle layering that complements the building’s architecture without feeling busy.
Scope
• Translate my rough site layout (CAD/PDF) into a full landscape sheet ready for permit review, including planting plan, legend, and notes that align with local code requirements.
• Provide a plant schedule specifying species, sizes, and counts sized for our zone and water-use regulations.
• Include hardscape callouts only where they interface with the planting zones; I’m not requesting a full parking-lot or seating-area design, but please ensure tree wells and planter islands tie seamlessly into the existing paving layout. I already have a full civil and site plan minus the landscape.
I will need an irrigation plan as well (drip)
• Label irrigation sleeves or drip zones so the civil set can reference them.
There needs to be a legend with the plant names.
Deliverables
1. Scaled landscape plan in DWG and PDF.
2. Plant list with botanical & common names, container size, and spacing.
3. Brief narrative summarizing how the design meets green-space and canopy coverage ordinances.
Acceptance Criteria
• City reviewer can verify species, quantities, and spacing directly from the sheet without cross-referencing.
• Modern, minimalist character preserved—clear sight lines, restrained palette (3-5 tree species, complementary groundcovers).
• File layers and lineweights organized for effortless integration into the master CAD set.
