Classic Front Yard Campsite & Playground
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want a cohesive front-yard master plan that feels Classic in style while still keeping everything family-friendly and practical. The space has three key zones that need to flow naturally into one another:
• Campsite / Camp-fire Area
– A dedicated gathering spot with a permanent BBQ fire pit. All structural or decorative elements here (seating, pit edging, wind screen, possible grill support) must feature Metal as the primary visible material. Think durable yet refined, so it complements the overall Classic look rather than feeling industrial.
• Kids’ Playground
– Swings, a Slide, and a Sandbox are non-negotiable. Safety surfacing, recommended clearances and orientation for shade during peak sun should be addressed in your layout.
• General Landscape & Circulation
– Soft landscaping, paths, and any low walls or borders should echo the Classic aesthetic and tie the two activity zones together without clutter. Lighting suggestions for both ambience and safety after dusk are welcome.
Deliverables
1. Scaled site plan with dimensions and clear labeling of the three zones.
2. At least two perspective renderings or sketches that illustrate how the Classic styling and metal campsite features come together.
3. A concise materials and planting palette summary (species or type, not full counts).
4. Brief installation notes highlighting any critical construction details for the fire pit and playground anchoring.
Keep all files in common formats (PDF for plans, JPEG/PNG for visuals, DWG/SketchUp optional extras). Clarity, accuracy, and a design that can be taken straight to a contractor will be the benchmarks for approval.
