Custom LAMP Video Platform Build
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m launching a video-sharing site built completely from scratch on a classic LAMP stack and I need a developer who can own the full architecture—from database schema to front-end playback—without leaning on WordPress or any other CMS. The goal is a lightweight, secure, and highly scalable alternative to YouTube that we can evolve over time.
Core experience must include PHP 8+, MySQL tuning, Apache optimization on Linux, and fluency with modern front-end practices (HTML5, JavaScript, adaptive streaming). You’ll be implementing:
• Secure user authentication with profile management
• Role-based access for Admin, Content creator, and Viewer accounts
• Video upload, server-side transcoding (e.g., FFmpeg), and smooth HTML5 playback
• A comment and rating system tied to each video
• AI-driven automated moderation to scan new content and flag policy violations in real time
Clean, well-documented code, Git-based workflows, and a clear separation between presentation, business logic, and data layers are non-negotiable. I also expect hardened security (prepared statements, XSS/CSRF protection, OWASP best practices) and forward-thinking performance choices like caching layers or CDN readiness.
Deliverables for the first milestone
1. Fully functional MVP covering authentication, role permissions, video pipeline, and basic comment/rating features
2. Docker-based dev/staging environment with README setup instructions
3. Technical documentation outlining database schema, API endpoints, and the automated moderation flow
