The goal of this project was to develop a fully functional e-commerce website for a local retail store that previously only operated offline. The client wanted to expand their business online, reach more customers, and provide a seamless shopping experience.
Scope of Work:
Front-End Development:
Designed a clean, modern, and responsive interface using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Focused on user-friendly navigation, mobile optimization, and fast page load times.
Implemented interactive product galleries, search functionality, and category filters.
Back-End Development:
Developed server-side functionality using PHP (or Node.js) and MySQL database to manage products, orders, and users.
Implemented secure login and authentication for customers and admin panel access.
Integrated payment gateways (PayPal/Stripe) for seamless online transactions.
Additional Features:
Shopping cart with dynamic calculation of taxes and shipping costs.
