LabView Windows / Camera Integration

I am in need of assistance in writing LabVIEW vi's which use the built in windows camera drivers and settings functionality. Basically if Windows can see it with the default camera app, I want LabVIEW to be able to get the image and adjust the settings. An example of an outdated but still working toolkit can be found at "https://www.inventeering.com/products-CamViewIT_Toolkit_for_LabVIEW.htm". I would like to duplicate this toolkits functionality.
