LabVIEW VI Development to Mimic Tera Term Version 5.2

I need an experienced LabVIEW developer to create a VI that mimics the essential features of Tera Term (Version 5.2). This VI will be used for serial communication via the computer's COM port to interface with a device under test (DUT). Key tasks involve capturing and managing data returned to Tera Term within LabVIEW.

I’m looking to develop a LabVIEW VI that replicates the core functionalities of Tera Term (Version 5.2), a serial communication program that connects via the computer’s COM port to interface with a device under test (DUT). The goal is to capture the text returned to Tera Term and manage it within LabVIEW.
The required features include:
• COM Port Configuration: Ability to configure serial communication settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, etc.).
• Data Logging: Functions for creating, appending, and saving logs.
• Screen and Buffer Management: Options to clear the screen and buffer.


Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
• Proficiency in LabVIEW
• Previous experience with serial communication programming
• Familiarity with Tera Term or similar tools.
