Developing an app using LabVIEW
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a LabVIEW developer to create a personal app within the next month. Here are the details of the project:
Specific features and functionalities:
- I have a clear idea of what I want for the app
- I will provide the design and layout
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in LabVIEW development
- Experience in creating personal apps
- Ability to work within a tight timeline
Timeline:
- The app needs to be completed within 1 month
If you are confident in your LabVIEW skills and can deliver high-quality work within the specified timeline, please submit your proposal. Thank you.
The following are the complete steps, including Bluetooth connection, data collection, and data display:
Step 1: Prepare hardware and Bluetooth devices
Obtain a PPG sensor device that supports Bluetooth and ensure that it can pair with your client device (Huawei phone) and transmit data.
Step 2: Create LabVIEW VI
Create a VI using LabVIEW, which will connect to Bluetooth sensors, collect PPG data, and upload the data to the database.
Use the Bluetooth module or Bluetooth function of LabVIEW to communicate with Bluetooth devices. Establish a Bluetooth connection and receive PPG data in real-time.
Step 3: Data collection and upload
In LabVIEW VI, collect PPG data in real-time and process it.
Use LabVIEW's database connection tool to configure database connections, write SQL queries, and upload real-time collected PPG data to the database.
Step 4: Create LabVIEW VI for data display
Create another LabVIEW VI to read historical PPG data from the database and generate waveform maps in real-time.
Use LabVIEW's database connection tool to configure database connections and write SQL queries to retrieve historical PPG data.
Use LabVIEW's drawing tool to create waveform maps and plot historical data onto them.
Step 5: User Interface and Interactivity
Create a user interface on the front panel of LabVIEW VI, including controls for displaying waveform maps.
If necessary, add interactive features such as selecting parameters such as date range and data source.
Step 6: Deploy the application
Using the LabVIEW Mobile Module, compile the application into an Android APK file and install it on the client's Huawei phone.
Step 7: Run the application
Run the LabVIEW application on the client, connect to the Bluetooth sensor, collect PPG data, and upload it in real-time to the database.
Use an application to read historical data and display waveform maps.
These steps should include Bluetooth connection, data collection, data uploading to the database, as well as reading data from the database and generating waveform maps in real-time. This will allow you to fully utilize the functionality of LabVIEW to meet your needs.
I need to use LabVIEW to connect to the PPG sensor through Bluetooth, collect data, upload the data to the MySQL database, and then read the historical data from the database to generate a dynamic curve waveform for the client to display. The program needs to be compiled into an app and run on iOS and Android.
