Scalable Kubernetes Jewellery Ecommerce
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m building a high-end jewellery store and need a fully containerised, highly scalable web application that runs on Kubernetes. The first milestone is an irresistible product showcase; everything else will revolve around making those items sparkle on screen and sell smoothly.
Product Showcase (top priority)
• High-quality images that load fast and stay crisp on any device
• Detailed product descriptions that I can update through the admin panel
• Filtering and sorting options so shoppers quickly find exactly what they want
Critical commerce functions for launch
• Inventory management that updates in real time
• Payment gateway integration for seamless, secure checkout
• Order tracking visible to customers from their account dashboard
Technical expectations
You’ll package the front-end and back-end in Docker containers and orchestrate them with Kubernetes so the site can scale horizontally without downtime. A simple CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions or similar) should push cleanly to both staging and production clusters. Please design the services stateless where possible, keep databases decoupled, and add basic monitoring so I can watch the app stretch under load.
Deliverables
1. Source code repository with instructions for local Docker-Compose spin-up
2. Helm charts or Kubernetes manifests for staging & production
3. Deployed test instance demonstrating all features above
4. Monitoring stack (Prometheus/Grafana or equivalent) proving auto-scaling works
5. Clear hand-off documentation covering setup, scaling parameters, and maintenance
Acceptance criteria: every showcase feature works across modern browsers, payments process successfully in sandbox, inventory adjusts automatically, orders display accurate status updates, and the site handles at least 1,000 concurrent sessions without performance drops.
