Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
We're looking for a software engineer with TypeScrip and Kubernetes experience. Our existing platform utilizes BigCommerce and Prismic APIs which feed into a SvelteKit frontend. Here we will require several visual (CSS) and functional (TypeScript) changes. Moreover, a Jetti integration needs to be implemented, including necessary changes to the underlying infrastructure. Said infrastructure utilizes Kubernetes and Postgres as an abstraction layer between the platform and BigCommerce / Prismic APIs. Please note that we are talking about a monolith here, not microservices.
Ideal candidate would be an engineer with TypeScript, SvelteKit, and Kubernetes experience. The last one is a hard requirement as you can't even spin up a development environment without k8s.
At this point reengineering of the platform as microservices is not required or desired. Kubernetes is only there as the driver of the platform. Our goals are:
tweaks to the existing functionality
tweaks to the design
Jetti integration
Please also note that strict compliance with WCAG AAA is a must.
