OpenShift On-Premises Expert Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I run an on-premises OpenShift installation and need an experienced engineer to bring the cluster to peak health, streamline how we ship code, and jump in quickly when something goes wrong.
The work spans three clear areas:
1. Cluster setup & configuration
• Audit the current OpenShift install, harden it, and expand or re-architect where gaps appear.
• Document every change so the environment can be rebuilt from scratch if required.
2. Application deployment & management
• Build or refine manifests, Helm charts, or Operators so new services reach production with a single command.
• Establish a repeatable workflow that fits the way we already work with Git and CI/CD.
3. Troubleshooting & ongoing support
• Diagnose performance or stability issues as they arise.
• Produce a concise runbook so my team can triage common incidents without you.
All work happens directly on our self-hosted hardware—there’s no AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure in play—so familiarity with bare-metal or private-cloud nuances is essential. I will provide cluster-admin credentials and remote access once we kick off.
The engagement wraps when:
• The cluster passes a jointly agreed health checklist,
• Deployments run end-to-end without manual tweaks, and
• A handover document and runbook are delivered.
