We have a fullstack application currently running on Docker Compose that we want to migrate to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Helm charts.
Current setup:
• UI: Angular application
• Backend services: 6 Node.js services
• Databases: 1 PostgreSQL (or specify DB)
• Cache: 1 Redis
Scope of work:
• Analyze the existing docker-compose.yml setup.
• Break down services and create corresponding Helm charts.
• Ensure the charts are modular, configurable, and follow best practices.
• Configure deployments, services, ingress, config maps, and secrets as needed.
• Ensure the application is fully deployable on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Provide documentation and instructions for deployment and scaling.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Helm, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proven track record deploying microservices on AKS or other managed Kubernetes platforms.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Angular, Redis, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of best practices for security, scaling, and monitoring in Kubernetes.
Deliverables:
• Production-ready Helm charts for all services.
• Deployment tested and running successfully on AKS.
• Documentation on setup, configuration, and ongoing management.
