Custom WHMCS Module for Kubernetes Management
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
WHMCS Module Development for Kubernetes Multi‑Tenant Management (Project Description)
Project Overview
We need a developer to build a custom WHMCS module that allows our customers to manage their own isolated Kubernetes environments inside our main cluster.
Each customer should automatically receive a dedicated Kubernetes Namespace, with full isolation and resource limits.
The module must integrate WHMCS with our backend Kubernetes Control API, allowing customers to deploy, manage, and delete their own containerized workloads.
Core Objectives
Automatically provision a dedicated Kubernetes Namespace for each new WHMCS service.
Allow customers to deploy and manage their own containers inside their namespace.
Provide a clean, simple UI inside WHMCS for container lifecycle management.
Ensure strict isolation using Kubernetes RBAC, ResourceQuotas, and Namespaces.
Required Features
1. WHMCS Module (Client Area)
The module must provide the following customer‑facing features:
Container Management
Deploy a new container (Docker image input)
Start / Stop / Restart
Delete container
Logs Viewer
Real‑time or near real‑time logs
Select pod + container
Resource Monitoring
CPU / RAM usage
Pod count
Storage usage
Deployment List
Show all running workloads
Status indicators
2. WHMCS Admin Area
Admin‑side features:
Namespace Management
Suspend / Unsuspend customer Kubernetes access
View customer deployments
Reset namespace
Regenerate API credentials
3. Backend API Integration
The WHMCS module will communicate with our Kubernetes Control API (we will provide it or you can help build it).
Required API endpoints:
Create Namespace
Delete Namespace
Deploy Container
Stop Container
Delete Deployment
Get Logs
Get Metrics
The module must handle:
Authentication (API key or token)
Error handling
Timeouts
Response parsing
Technical Requirements
Kubernetes
Namespaces
Deployments
Services
Ingress (optional)
RBAC (Role, RoleBinding, ServiceAccount)
ResourceQuota + LimitRange
WHMCS
Custom module development
ClientArea + AdminArea templates
API calls via WHMCS internal functions
Service provisioning hooks
Backend API (Optional Add‑On Work)
If you can build the API as well, mention it in your proposal.
Deliverables
Fully working WHMCS module
Installation instructions
Source code (no encryption)
API documentation (if you build the API)
Testing + bug fixing
Additional Notes
We prefer developers with experience in:
Kubernetes automation
SaaS platform development
WHMCS provisioning modules
Docker / container orchestration
Call to Action for Freelancers
Please include in your proposal:
Relevant WHMCS modules you built before
Kubernetes experience
Estimated delivery time
Fixed price quote
