AKS Administrator for Linux Infrastructure & Kubernetes

We are seeking an experienced AKS Administrator to join our team for a long-term contract role, working 8 hours daily Monday through Friday.

This is a 100% remote position supporting Linux-based infrastructure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. You'll be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining containerized applications and infrastructure.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in AKS/Kubernetes administration
• Strong expertise in Linux-based infrastructure management
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
• Proficiency in container orchestration platforms
• Knowledge of performance testing, integration testing, and security testing
• Experience with L3 operations and incident response
• Understanding of compliance standards (CIS benchmarks)
• Capacity planning and resource utilization monitoring skills
• Strong documentation and knowledge sharing abilities

Deliverables:
• Deploy and manage Linux servers, VMs, and AKS clusters
• Implement container orchestration solutions
• Develop and execute testing strategies for systems and containers
• Provide L3 support and incident response
• Maintain compliance with industry standards
• Create comprehensive documentation
• Perform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

This is an hourly contract position requiring full-time availability during standard business hours. The role offers opportunity for long-term engagement with a growing infrastructure team.
