Wifi Network Prototype App Development
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am seeking a skilled freelancer to assist with prototyping a mobile application using Jetpack Compose in Kotlin. The core functionality of the app revolves around connecting to and interacting with Raspberry Pi Picos.
App Functionality:
* Wi-Fi Network Listing: Upon launch, the app will display a list of available Wi-Fi networks on the user's device.
* Pi Pico Detection: The app will filter the listed Wi-Fi networks to identify those specifically broadcast by Raspberry Pi Picos.
* Connecting to Pico Wi-Fi: The user can select a detected Pico network, and the app will establish a connection to it.
* Interaction with Pico (not needed): There are existing functionalities within the main app to interact with the Pico once connected. This functionality does not need to be built within this prototype.
* Pico Reboot and Re-connection: After interacting with the Pico, it will reboot, causing its Wi-Fi network to disappear. The app should gracefully handle this by automatically reconnecting to the user's previous Wi-Fi network (home or office).
Project Scope:
This project focuses solely on the development of the aforementioned functionalities.
Integration with any existing API calls within the main application is outside the scope of this project.
Any additional features or functionalities beyond the core requirements will be handled by me after the prototype is complete.

Deliverables:

At this point we only need a standalone app with the specified functionality. This will allow us to integrate this into our existing app.
