Startup looking for Senior Android (Kotlin) frontend developer with 7+ years of experience which is able to work fast and independent (audio and video experience needed)
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
No teams, no IT companies, just one individual frontend android developer with first and last name!

We are small Startup which is building one new, next level social app for mobile phones.
This is music/video content app, something between TikTok and Youtube…but very different and unique.
You will be proud on yourself after developing this with us, and this can be one of your best and most interesting projects you ever did! I guarantee it!
We have Mockup/design ready, about 22+screens.
Backend API is in MVP stage already, functional.
Android App is in progress, but we need to speed it up, we need you.
App is not that complicated, nor big…but we need someone knowledgeable which will do frontend part fast and reliable. You need to take data from backend and show it in app.
You will work tight with our backend developer.
We would prefer someone from Europe, because of our-clock time, but it is not mandatory…
Please do not apply if you are not good with Kotlin, if you do not look for challenge and if you do not consider yourself a fast and progressive developer.
You need to have experience with music and video files and be able to fast generate screens so we reach our MVP as soon as possible, and then as we get first customers we will polish it away.
Practically all app are lists and content and you as frontend developer need to show generic content from our databases communicating with our backend developer. As well we have 2 special tools which will be needed to developed from zero, so you will need to do some R&D creative work.
We work over gitlab and if you are good, fast and reliable you will take over all android part as team leader since we are not satisfied with android app development speed right now.
You have to be able to prove us your skills by some simple demo before we select you.
We will give you task and you need to show us how would you solve one problem.
We will look how fast and good you can do it.
For example, one android screen you will need to develop or similar. I will not checking your comments, nor your portfolio pictures, which can be artificially pumped as I saw many times before.
Your monthly salary will be low until we start to monetize our APP since I personally financing all app development and I am personally “all in” this. I think we can publish our app in 1-2 months with your help and then your income will grow proportional.
You will be treated as equal part of our small team (soon it will be 5 of us). Your salary will be growing proportional with our success. We do not need someone who will work for salary only, we need someone with vision, startup member, to lead us with android development and go with us on this mission until end.
When you understand app idea we hope you will understand potential we all have here. We all “eat” at the end. Now each of our developers is in “hassle” phase, working on mission, with minimum monthly pay.
We looking for long term people and if you stay with us you will get paid as best IT engineers in industry. We are looking for team member, which is good fit for us, motivated, knowledgeable and trusted.
You will need to take over personally android frontend part, develop it and make it better by actively doing what is best for users and app, not for you as programmer.
We need someone with Lion attitude. Crazy a bit. We sprint for one short period of time, we rest on Bali or Tahiti for some time, we see where we are and at then we repeat cycle. Go with us, maybe this is will be your best life-time opportunity.
