Port iOS Map App Android

Job ID: 39743928

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I already have a fully-working iOS application for geocaching and now need the same experience on Android.
The app’s core flows—secure user authentication, real-time vector map display with cache overlays, and GPS-based positioning—must feel indistinguishable from the iPhone version.

All geocache data is loaded on demand from GPX files and from the public geocaching game-server API (OKAPI/GC integration), then overlaid on the live map with custom icons by cache type. That integration and parsing logic will also have to be mirrored in the new build.

Everything is written natively on iOS (Swift + SwiftUI, MapLibre), so I expect a native Android solution as well (Kotlin + Android Studio preferred, but Java acceptable if it speeds up development). On-device caching of geocache data, handling of location permissions, display of hints/photos/descriptions; please carry the same thinking over to Android.
