Fix UPI OTP Transaction Failure
Budget: ₹3,000 – ₹15,000 INR
My UPI integration consistently throws a transaction failure right in the middle of the OTP authentication step. The flow reaches the OTP prompt, the user enters the code, and instead of receiving the success callback I get an error response from the bank gateway.
What I need from you:
• Analyse the existing Android (Kotlin) code that handles the UPI intent and callback.
• Review the request payloads, headers, and checksum generation to confirm they match NPCI specs for OTP authentication.
• Trace logs from initiation through to the failure response, identify the exact point and reason for the rejection, then propose and implement a fix.
• Provide a concise report summarising root cause, code changes, and a simple test plan so I can replicate the successful transaction on multiple devices.
Familiarity with UPI APIs, NPCI guidelines, and handling OTP-based authentication flows is essential. If you have solved similar “failure-during-authentication” issues before, this should be a quick turnaround.
