Android VoIP App Development
Budget: ₹150,000 – ₹250,000 INR
I need an Android application that lets end-users purchase a local virtual number and instantly configure it from their phone. Inside the app the user must be able to set up call forwarding, manage voicemail greetings and messages, and send/receive SMS—all tied to the same newly purchased local number.
The flow I have in mind is straightforward: after sign-up, the user browses available local numbers (pulled from a telecom API such as Twilio, Plivo, Telnyx or a comparable SIP provider), buys one, and then sees three configuration screens—Call Forwarding, Voicemail. Changes should apply in real time via the provider’s REST endpoints or SIP signalling.
Please build the client in Kotlin, follow an MVVM structure, and use native Android components (no WebView shortcuts). A lightweight back-end or Firebase layer can hold user accounts, number inventory, and billing tokens; feel free to propose what you prefer, as long as it is documented.
Finally, App must be submitted on Google Play Store according to policies and must be made live.

• Complete Android Studio project with source code
• README covering provider setup, API keys, and steps to enable forwarding, voicemail and SMS
• Release-ready APK for testing
• Playstore Submission
Acceptance criteria
• A local number can be purchased from the app without leaving the flow
• Incoming calls ring through the VoIP stack in under one second
• Call forwarding, voicemail playback, and two-way SMS all function reliably on that number
• App runs crash-free on Android 8 through 14 and meets Google Play call/SMS permission policies
