I want a slimmed-down TikTok-style app built natively for Android. The emphasis is on fast loading, low data usage, and smooth vertical video scrolling—ideal for users on slower connections or budget devices.
Key goals
• Lightweight install size and efficient caching so videos start quickly even on 3G networks.
• Core feed with endless vertical swipe navigation, autoplay, pause, like, and simple share.
• Clean, minimal UI that mirrors the familiar TikTok layout without unnecessary bells and whistles.
What I expect from you
1. Source code in Kotlin or Java, well commented.
2. A brief README explaining build steps and any third-party libraries.
3. APK for testing plus a short demo video showing the app in action.
Nice-to-haves (please mention if you can include them)
– Push notification hook for “new videos available.”
– Basic user login via Firebase or similar to save likes.
– Option to toggle video quality based on network speed.
