Android Productivity App Development
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I want to turn a simple idea into a fully functioning productivity application that runs natively on Android. The goal is to give users a straightforward tool to organise tasks, set quick reminders, and stay focused throughout the day—nothing bloated, just an uncluttered interface that gets the job done.
Here’s what I already know:
• This is an application-development job, not a website or graphic-only task.
• The first release is Android-only, so everything should be built and tested with current Android SDKs in mind.
• The end result must clearly serve a productivity purpose (think task tracking, quick note capture, light scheduling, or similar).
What I still need from you:
• Advice on the best architecture and tech stack (Kotlin vs. Java, Jetpack components, local storage options, etc.).
• Clean, well-documented source code that I can build on later.
• An installable APK plus any assets required to publish on Google Play.
• A short hand-off guide so I understand how to run, compile, and expand the project myself.
If you have existing snippets, libraries, or UI kits that speed things up, feel free to suggest them—as long as licensing permits commercial use. Quality, stability, and clarity of code matter more to me than a flashy feature list.
I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on milestones and a realistic timeline.
