Android NDK Realtime Audio + Simulation
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Summary: We are porting a desktop physics engine to Android. You will own the NDK
build, JNI API, low-latency audio pipeline (Oboe/AAudio), and Kotlin UI.
Requirements:
• 5+ years C++ (C++17) and 2+ years Android NDK (Gradle+CMake)
• Shipped at least one low-latency audio or high-performance NDK app
• Strong DSP numerics (FFT, convolution) and multithreading (atomics, lock-free)
• Kotlin/Compose proficiency; coroutines; clean architecture
• Experience with NEON, Perfetto/simpleperf, and crash/ANR reduction
Pluses:
• Vulkan/OpenGL ES visualization or compute
• Experience replacing desktop deps with mobile-friendly ones
• Past work in acoustics, spatial audio, or scientific computing
Deliverables:
• Android Studio project (app + :physics-native) with Gradle + CMake
• libphysics engine.so exposed via thin C API and Kotlin bindings
• Sample projects (mesh + config) and automated tests (native + instrumented)
• AAB ready for internal testing with documentation (README + API)
